We Do Things: Party Hearty

This is a rare preemptive We Do Things post where there isn’t anything to report because we haven’t done anything yet.  But it’s Valentine’s Day and I’m excited.  I have to admit that I’m a sucker for any candy-centric holiday, so this is a favorite.

Since my sweetie is slated to work the bar at Matt’s fried chicken and champagne dinner benefitting the American Heart Association (funny, right?) I have the pleasure of spending the evening with my favorite acting-boyfriend-in-a-pinch, PDA.  We’re going to Valentine’s (the place) for Barons in the Attic, which, I swear to god, the first time we saw them I was convinced that their name was, “Bears in the Attic.”  I thought it was the cutest thing ever.  And now that I think about it, PDA is a really appropriate handle for Valentine’s Day, though we probably won’t be engaging in any graphic public displays of affection, unless of course there is champagne involved.  In that case I take no responsibility for my actions and apologize in advance to our significant others.
